SNOW!!!

When I left work today at 4:40 it was starting to rain/snow the wind was blowing HARD. I had to stop at Safeway and wished I didn't have to get out in the cold. Then in that short amount of time it turned to snow. As I was walking into the house I was thinking I hate snow I hate the cold, but had to turn it around. I Love the snow because I love the green grass, flowers that can happen because of the moisture we receive. I am thankful that we have water to drink, and much more!!! This how much we received in three hours. Robin beware it will be coming your way!

Spring!

I love SPRING!!! We have had some exciting sign that spring is coming. When I leave for work in the morning there are birds sing. I can hear three different kinds. I saw a robin the other day. The days are longer! I saw a daffodil , then I found this pansy hiding in our flower bed. The weather hasn’t been too bad it is still in the mid 20’s when I leave for work, but in the 50’s when I come home.

I have the neatest husband he watched “27 dresses” with me last night. It isn't every husband that will watch a girly film with their wife.
We filled out the NCAA brackets at work and of course I had Gary help me. We did ok on the first round, but the team we picked to win it all lost it's first game and is out. So we will see how it goes. I told Gary I’m not sure about this before I didn’t care who won but when you put down on paper you are watching checking on line and cheering.

Saturday: Cleaned. Fixed the family pictures on the wall, put all of the kids in 5x7 frames. Cut Idonna’s hair. Went grocery shopping. Had a busy day and week.

Please remember Kendra in your prayers. She had to fire her attorney and get another one in the middle of all of this. There having mediation this coming Friday regarding the children. Her old attorney never told her she needed to set this up and just about missed the dead line and a lot more.

Visit

Gary and I were serenade by Andy Bingham yesterday. Andy is home visiting he had told us that he has taught him self the guitar and composing songs, he came over and played a couple of songs for us. They weren't to bad. Andy use to live at our house. Cory and him were really good friends he would go every where with us. I always plan on him for dinner. One mother's day he showed up with a gift for me. He is just a kind considered guy. The only picture I could find was this one taken in 1997. Cory and him were in Devin's pool. It is nice to be remembered!!

THANKFUL

As I laid in bed this morning thinking back on the week and what had happened. I decided it wasn’t a week to write about so decided to write a THANK YOU blog.
First I am thankful for my FAMILY. My husband and his quite caring ways, he lets me rant and rave and then I am ok. For my parents and that they raised me in the gospel of Jesus Christ. The things they gave me it wasn’t always material things but I knew they loved me. For my ancestors that they joined the church even with times that were hard they set an example for me. For my daughters that listen to me, always there when I need someone to talk to. My sisters as different as they are; are both a strength to me. My nieces and nephews for their love

For my TESTIMONY of the Church of Jesus Christ that is was restored on the earth today. That we have a prophet that leads and guides us. For the scriptures that we have for answers. For temples that through ordinances performed there we can be a family forever. For Gary’s and mine calling, to serve the Lord and teach the temple prep class. For an older brother that died for us that we might repent and return to live with our father. For the priesthood that has been restored and my husband does hold it. That prayers are answered, sometimes not in our time frame.

For HEALTH that I am able to get out of bed go to work and do the things I need and enjoy doing.

For MATERIAL THINGS like a home, transportation, all the modern convences that we enjoy like a washer ,dryer, computer, cameras, microwave, telephones and many many more. I can’t forget a good bed that I can go to and get a good night sleep. A job as stressful as it is.

For a COUNTRY and the freedoms that we enjoy. That the founding fathers were guided as they drafted the constitution.

I could go on and on but I am a VERY BLESSED PERSON that has her trials like any one else.

Time

Sat 2/28/2009 there was a women conference at St Johns where sister Chicko Okazaki spoke. she is amazing lady! She spoke to us approx 1 hr. She is approx 83 years old and spoke with very few notes. Sister Burgess from Snowflake spoke first about her life growing up in Germany at the end of world war II. She was very interesting!

Last week was a very trying one there was 29 patients scheduled Friday and I didn't schedule then all. I had help. We were ALL stressed out when Gary picked me up for lunch I told him I felted like calling in sick and not going back, but my conscious wouldn't let me. Rosie was off today, Monday 3-2-09 and Friday so I did her stuff and not mine.

Gretchen's mother-in-law is in the hospital she has tumors on her hip, esophagus and ribs. There are going to put a rod in her hip/leg they said if she fell it would shatter. Up date she had the surgery 3-3. They had her up walking today, but she is running a fever. Remember her in your prayers. The doctor told her last Friday that she couldn't work any more, so Steve took this week off to watch Dylan, then next week a lady from the ward will watch him, Gretchen took the next week.
